Hello All! On this page you will find resources that will assist, enhance, and bring your lessons and quality of student work to life, as well as free trainings and tutorials covering SAS, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Publisher, and more!

PDE Standard Aligned System (SAS) <--Standard Aligned System is a comprehensive approach to support student achievement across Pennsylvania.

United Streaming <--Many of you are already familiar with this site and have been using it in your classrooms. However, Discovery Education now offers far more than simply videos and video segments; it has everything from an interactive atlas to lessons, quizes, and writing prompts. If you do not have a user name and password, please email me and I will get you the necessary information to create one.

Museum Box <--This site provides the tools for you to build up an argument or description of an event, person or historical period by placing items in a virtual box. What items, for example, would you put in a box to describe your life; the life of a Roman soldier; or to show that slavery was wrong and unnecessary? This can also be a very useful tool for any subject due to its felxibility and openness for creativity. Many examples are provided on the link. You can display anything from a text file to a movie.

Thinkfinity <--Thinkfinity is an educational website provided by Verizon which offers free lessons, interactive games and activities, primary sources, worksheets, reference materials, media, and assessments for ALL subject areas. Definitely worth checking out!

Federal Resources for Educational Excellence <--F.R.E.E. offers teaching and learning resources at nost cost provided by federal agencies across America. These include animations, primary documents, photos and videos for Arts & Music, Health and Physical Education, Social Studies, Language Arts, Math and Science.

Teacher Tube! <-- Teachertube is an excellent resource for teachers to find videos to play for class, get ideas from other teachers, and even upload videos of their own students' projects covering any given topic. Unlike youtube, teachertube is filtered and only has videos with educational value. It is free and all you have to do is create a log in account from the link provided.

netTrekker <--You will need to create an account for netTrekker, which is of no cost to you because it is paid by the Intermediate Unit. NetTrekker is an award-winning academic search engine that is fast and easy to use for teachers and students. It offers over 180,000 educator-selected online resources organized by subject, readability level and aligned with the state standards. An outstanding resource

Mircosoft Trainings and Reference Guides <--This link provides free online tutorials and troubleshooting guides for those whoever have a question on anything regarding Mircosoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word).

SMART Educator Resources <--The SMART Company offers free interactive lessons as well as resources, handouts and activities for every subject. These can be used by ALL teachers, but work wonders with SMART and Promethean interactive boards.

PBS Teachers Classroom Resources <--Full of standards-based resources for all subjects and grade levels. Also contains "PBS Teachers Connect," which is an online community of exchanging ideas, resources, and instructional strategies on the integration of digital media and technology.

FREE PowerPoint Presentations-All Subjects/Grade Levels <--Provides PowerPoint presentations compiled by teachers throughout the United States that can be quickly downloaded, saved, and reused. The best part is that you can edit the presentations once saved to fit your classroom needs. An excellent resource!
